MATERIALS

• Berroco Medina light (DK) weight cotton/acrylic/viscose yarn (31/2oz/295 yds/100g per ball): 5 balls #4772 melilla

• Size F/5/3.75mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

• Size E/4/3.5mm crochet hook

• Tapestry needle

GAUGE

In honeycomb: 11 sts = 2 inches; 7 rows/rnds = 2 inches

Take time to check gauge.

PATTERN NOTES

Hat and mitts are worked in turned rounds from the bottom up.

Weave in ends as work progresses.

Chain-2 at beginning of row or round counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.

Work all post stitches of Honeycomb pattern as a decrease stitch, working first around the post and completing the decrease by working in next stitch on current row or round.

Join with slip stitch unless otherwise stated.

SPECIAL STITCHES
