With a career history in floristry and her tertiary degree in visual arts, Kirralee Robinson never imagined she’d spend her days at the helm of a circular saw, surrounded by mounds of sawdust. It was one DIY project five years ago that sparked a love of timber and forged a fresh creative path for the Brisbane native. “We needed a family dining table, but rather than buy something new, my husband Ash and I built our own – combining the top and the four legs from two second-hand tables,” explains Kirralee. “The natural material instantly resonated with me.”
