Could you briefly describe your relationship?
Huda: We’ve been together for 10 years and married for five. We both believe that we were meant to go down the path we did because our family was supposed to be complete the way it is now. Both of us had kids and were unhappy in our relationships. Our relationship is very open, very loving and very caring. We both put our kids first and we both invest a lot of time into making US work.

Adorned with black headdresses (or hats), the models that graced Yorkville Village’s runway flaunted boldcoloured velvet dresses and boss-lady outfits. Since 2011, designer duo Simon Belanger and Jose Manuel Jacques have been creating lux pieces that reflect on masculine feminity to emphasize the capabilities and desires of the modern woman. We had the opportunity to speak to Simon shortly after the show about their one-of-a-kind collection that is truly one to reminisce.
