TELL US ABOUT HOW YOU AND SHANE MET AND HOW YOU STARTED YOUR LABEL TOGETHER?
Long ago, when Shane and I had separate labels, he was working on a particular collection for which he wanted a painter. That is when he asked around and one of his friends’ mom said she knows a girl who paints very well. She connected the two of us, and I decided to give it a shot. The first time I met him, I felt like he had too much attitude. But once we started working together, we started talking and became really good friends. Soon we were together and, before we knew it, our families met and then the rest as they say is history! Once we were officially married, it made no sense for us to continue with separate fashion journeys because we had a common goal, a clear vision, and the same passion for fashion. And now, when I think about it, it was all just like a fairytale—being friends and then gradually falling in love.
HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE FALGUNI SHANE PEACOCK AS A LABEL?
