HE ENTERS THE ROOM WITH A BIG SMILE and the calm assurance of a man who is content. For his first ever cover with BAZAAR BRIDE, Shahid goes about his shoot in a very conscientious manner—no fuss, a diminutive entourage, makes polite conversation, and looks damn good while he’s at it. From dating some of the most high-profile women in the industry and being linked to his co-stars to being completely smitten by one girl who stole his heart and becoming a doting father—Shahid has come a long way. He could very well be the most perfect movie star in the history of movie stars. The signs are all there—those dreamy eyes, warm smile, easy conduct, and well-defined body—he really is flawless. Five hours into the shoot and his pleasant disposition hasn’t given way and, as we sit down to chat, he is talking about his beginnings, the movies, maybe even Donald Trump. In truth, however, it is exceedingly difficult to hear anything over the clamour of how perfect everything is, both him and his entire orbit. And so, here we are now, in the midst of finalising this interview and revisiting that entire conversation with Shahid—the man who changed our opinion on arranged marriages, love, and star kids.
