|The Beauty Issue - April 2018
Living in a city is stressful enough with sky-high rent and slow walkers. When you add never-ending traffic, it is a deadly combo. Driving can ruin your skin in a big way. Between sun exposure and polluted air lies attacked dry rough layers of skin.
Use your daily commute to feed your skin and glow with a few smart road tips.
Tip 1: Make sunscreen your friend
Have you ever thought about of how many years you actually spend in the car? Most of us never think of putting on sunscreen for the road. And we are talking faces here ladies. We are also talking neck, decolletage and hands. Irrespective of the weather, never underestimate the power of sunscreen! Protect your skin by applying sunscreen with a minimum SPF 30. Daily. If there ever was one daytime act of beauty experts agree on, it would be the anti-aging benefits of sunscreen. And you know how our hands and neck do! Spread the sun protecting love on hands peeking over a steering. That, or wear leather gloves like whoa.
Tip 2: Cleansing is a must

What's Your Shade?
I have seen many a red in my time. Some have made me cringe. If it weren’t for the exceptionally high maintenance of red colour, I would run home and shampoo it all off. Some have been stunners, blessedly. You would imagine women with darker complexion would not be able to rick blonde and red shades. Would you be surprised if I told you there is a wide range of colour you can experiment with?
