When Katie Holmes was pictured walking hand in hand with boyfriend Jamie Foxx in Malibu last month, it seemed the missing piece in her and daughter Suri’s life had finally been found.
But according to Star magazine in the US, seeing her mum so happy with a new man and potential new father figure has made Suri miss her own dad, Hollywood star Tom Cruise, even more.
In fact, 11-year-old Suri is so desperate to reconnect with her father, according to Star, she recently got in touch with him and asked if they could meet up.
Those close to Tom and Katie’s only child are now said to be desperately hoping her heartfelt plea will spark a reunion.
“Her sentiments were short, but full of emotion,” a source close to the family says.
