What should be a time of celebration appears to have turned into a nightmare for Bec Hewitt, who was seen looking distressed on the streets of Melbourne last week.

Keen not to be seen, the 35-year-old former soap star had her cap pulled down over her eyes and seemed panicked as she held onto a coathanger, plastic bag and guitar case and ran towards a parked vehicle.

“She was with the kids and was throwing things into the boot of the car in a massive rush. She seemed really out of sorts and her dad appeared to be supporting her – it left everyone wondering what was going on and why she was so desperate to get away,” tells an insider, adding, “She appeared to be on the verge of tears.”
