Can EastEnders star Emma Barton prove she’s hot to trot as the Strictly competition begins?

Best known for playing Honey Mitchell in EastEnders, Emma Barton hopes her experience on stage will come in handy when she steps on to the Strictly dance floor this week.

‘I’ve been in the musical Chicago, so I’m hoping my musicality will give me an advantage. That was 10 years ago, though, and completely different to the dances we’ll be doing on Strictly,’ says Emma, 42, who’s paired with professional dancer Anton Du Beke.
