Police drama Criminal broke the mould when it arrived on Netflix last year. There were no high-octane chase scenes or maverick detectives pulling all-nighters to crack a case. Instead, each episode took place within the confines of an interview suite, as a team of elite police interrogators grilled a suspect until the truth revealed itself.

One of the series’ many strengths was its array of guest stars, including David Tennant, who played one of the interviewees. For season two, an equally impressive cast has been assembled consisting of Sophie Okonedo, Kit Harington, Sharon Horgan and
