CORONATION STREET: Shona returns to the cobbles

Five months after she was shot by Derek Milligan and ended up in a coma, Shona Platt is back in Weatherfield. But her memory loss remains severe, and she struggles to connect with the strangers calling themselves her family.

The former cafe worker’s return follows intervention from sister-in-law Sarah. Earlier, David has gone looking for trouble again in a quest to get an adrenaline fix to blot out the pain of losing his other half. When Sarah finds out, she’s desperate to help him, and visits Shona at her rehab centre, begging her to come home to see if she remembers anything.
