There’s been the stress of him being the secret dad of Leanne Battersby’s baby and the fear that he could be the carrier of a life-threatening genetic disease.

But when his wife, Michelle, suddenly went into labour too early and their baby son, Ruairi, was stillborn at 23 weeks, it was a tragedy that he’s finding difficult to come to terms with.
