COLD-HEARTED Oprah Winfrey has abandoned her lonely, aging and destitute father in favor of spending time and money with celebrity pals — while greedily building her already billion-dollar empire!

In a heart-wrenching world exclusive interview, 83-year old Vernon Winfrey told The National ENQUIRER his famous daughter talks to him only twice a year!

Shockingly, the multitasking mogul — worth an astounding $2.9 billion — only bothers to carve out 20 measly minutes on those occasions from her daily schedule to talk to her ailing pop!

“We talk on the phone maybe a couple of times a year — on her birthday [Jan. 29] and my birthday a couple of days later [Jan. 31]. We’ll talk for about 20 minutes,” Vernon told The ENQUIRER.

Sadly, Vernon’s closest friends have died in recent years, leaving him to stare alone at a TV set inside his run-down home in East Nashville, Tenn.
