He has his own collection of furniture and a range of rugs produced with Vanderhurd. He’s also created two collections of paint colours for Plain English produced in collaboration with creative director Katie Fontana and art director Sue Skeen.

What’s your approach to kitchen colour?

The kitchen should be treated like any other room in the house; I wouldn’t use any colour here that I wouldn’t use elsewhere. The choice will depend on the size and location of the room, its aspect and link to other rooms in the house and the amount of natural light, but, ultimately, it’s about what you like.
