Christalla Bailey was mainly confined to her bed because of an illness for two decades. Free from those issues after experiencing God’s healing power, she saw her children give their lives to Christ.
For 20 years, Christalla Bailey suffered from a condition known as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) which affected many aspects of her life. The 51 year old went through a number of treatments for the condition – all of which were unsuccessful. Life continued to be a struggle.
“I developed ME after catching glandular fever following the birth of my daughter,” Christalla explains.
“At the time I wasn’t a Christian and was in an unhealthy marriage. We ran three businesses between us. I collapsed five years in and had to give up my business. I lost everything, and ended up homeless, disabled and divorced with two small children. I had to have carers as I couldn’t use my muscles. I couldn’t function normally, my brain and memory wouldn’t work. I was in constant pain… the condition was fluctuating so I would spend hours, weeks and sometimes months bedridden.
