Hallowe’en, scary scene.

A BOLT FROM THE BLUE
Hallowe’en, scary scene. Silver birch, witches perch. Rows of crones park their bones Next to wizards, thin as lizards, on each bow.
Frightful row. Jaw sag. Chin wag. Old bat’s chit chat. Mudslinging, curse flinging, Yaketty yak behind each back.
Sudden quiet. End of riot. Chief warlock touches forelock in greeting. Opens meeting. Claims traditions of magicians threated by young guy name of Potter. Little rotter.
