But her youthfulness and enthusiasm slightly breaks this demure image during the interview as the young actress shares her recent experiences in her career and plans for the future with wonder and excitement.

We’ve learned that this is Sanya’s first-ever print magazine cover, so we checked in on her halfway through the photo shoot to see how everything is going so far.

“Nag-eenjoy ako, and ang bilis lang ng shoot!” the actress exclaimed while the hair stylist fixes her hair for the following layouts.

“I’m thankful na kinuha ako ng Speed bilang cover,” Sanya added sweetly.

It’s our pleasure really. What did you expect from the shoot?

Isa na sa mga ine-expect ko is, of course, maganda ‘yung kakalabasan nung photos—mas sosyal, mas glamorous, and high-class.

How did you prepare for the shoot?

Hindi ako nag-breakfast! (laughs) Akala mo naman e-effect siya kaagad ngayon, ‘di ba? Pero kahapon nag-start ako na fruits lang ‘yung kinain ko—for the first time! (laughs) Pinaka workout ko lang is cardio like treadmill.

We don’t think you need any more work, though. The hit fantaserye Encantadia, where you played Hara Danaya, just ended. How was the overall experience for you?
