The women of Bravo's new Middle East-based Housewives franchise are making their own rules

Everything is bigger and better in Dubai," declares Lesa Milan, star of the latest installment in the Housewives franchise. According to Lesa and her castmates, Nina Ali, Chanel Ayan, Caroline Brooks, Sara Al Madani and Caroline Stanbury (who also starred in Bravo's Ladies of London in 2014) the opulent Middle Eastern city (often called the "City of Gold") isn't as buttoned-up as some might think. "There's more than meets the eye when it comes to life in the desert. We're not all conservative!" Here, the - super-glamorous women talk to In Touch's Fortune Benatar about life in Dubai, their rookie season and who ruffles the most feathers.
What can we expect from the first season?
CB: Viewers are going to be pleasantly surprised about how open and cosmopolitan Dubai really is.
