It was a family affair in Byron Bay on June 22, with the Hemsworth clan reuniting for lunch at local hotspot Rae’s on Wategos. Chris and wife Elsa Pataky were joined by the actor’s brother Luke, along with their parents Craig and Leonie for the outing.

Meanwhile, Liam, 30, brought along his girlfriend Gabriella Brooks.

The 24-year-old model, who was first linked to the actor back in December, appeared at ease with the rest of the Hemsworth family, laughing and chatting while outside the restaurant. It’s the first time the pair have been spotted together in recent weeks, with whispers that they had cooled things off. But Brooks and Hemsworth put those rumours to rest when they stepped out, with the actor clearly still smitten with his new girlfriend.

Likewise, Liam’s family appear equally besotted with the model. Hemsworth matriarch Leonie couldn’t wipe the smile off her face as she chatted with Brooks in the car park. At one point, the brunette beauty even wrapped a loving arm around Leonie’s shoulder.

“Liam’s family really likes Gabriella for him. She understands Liam’s values as well as his family’s, which is something that’s very important to him and them,” a source told Us Weekly earlier this year. “Liam feels comfortable with Gabriella. His family approves of her and really likes her.”
