Ringing in her 37th birthday on June 27, Khloé Kardashian was bombarded with good wishes from family, friends, and fans. But it was her ex-beau Tristan Thompson’s celebratory messages that stopped many in their tracks. “Thank you for being not just an amazing partner, mummy, and best friend but also being the kindest, caring and most loving human being I’ve ever met,” the basketball player wrote on Instagram, alongside three happy snaps of himself with his former girlfriend. “Your love and spirit are contagious to all who’ve met you. Thank you for always being there for me and putting our family first. I love you so much.”

Thompson’s gushing post came just days after reports he had been spotted disappearing into a bedroom with three women at a Los Angeles house party on June 18 – with the 30-year-old emerging half an hour later looking “disheveled”. “We all were talking about how badly we felt for Khloé and how he was going to embarrass her again,” an onlooker said of the incident.
