Niecy Nash reveals what makes her character Desna Simms more than just a nail salon manager for Claws seasons 2.

Desna Simms comes across as this honest, hard-working woman who wants her fair chance, says Niecy Nash (Delores Wise in 2017 biographical drama When They See Us), “But she’s dangerous!” Dramedy series Claws (2017-now) returns for a second season of crime capers, girlpower and hi-jinx, but it’s all about Desna despite the drama going on around her. “She is seeing the world for what it is. She is seeing that she can’t trust the Husser family, the people she works for. Desna I think for the first time realises that she has been taken for a fool and that is about to change,” warns Niecy.
