Under false pretences

One of Blossom Khuse’s (SlindileNodangala) regrets in life is giving up her newborn son for adoption when she was a teen. While sitting on her couch contemplating on what could’ve been, she recently received an early Christmas gift: a young man by the name of Mose (Mpho Sebeng, Goitseone in telenovela The Throne, 2018-2019) arrived at her doorstep, claiming to be the son she abandoned at a church nearly two decades ago. “Blossom is a mixture of emotions. She’s been waiting for this moment for years and she is thrilled to reunite with her son,” explains Slindile.

Without conducting a DNA test or asking intricate questions about Mose’s past, Blossom invites him to stay at the Khuse house so that they can make up for lost time. “Blossom’s desperation to forge a bond with Mose leads her to think impulsively. What she doesn’t know is that Mose is an impostor who is in town to turn Blossom’s world upside down,” warns the actress.
