Whether it’s a plate of slow-cooked lamb shanks, braised in red wine and served with a colourful vegetable puree, or a bowl of roasted butternut soup topped with nuts, boisterous chef Katlego Mlambo teaches viewers ways to create gourmet meals using simple items in their pantries on his brand-new cooking show Inside Job. “Usually, diners at highend eateries aren’t aware of the nittygritty elements that go into preparing the sophisticated dishes that wind up on their tables,” explains Katlego. “In each themed episode, I transform these humble ingredients into delicious dishes that you’d find at five-star restaurants.”
