Whether it’s securing the reception venue or ensuring that the groomsmen and bridesmaids stay on their best behaviour – preparation for the big day can get overwhelming. However, the real work begins after the ceremony and the honeymoon phase – when the couple is challenged with working through their differences and riding out the storm, which sets the premise for talkshow After The Vows.

In each episode, comedian, actor and host Mpho Popps Modikoane sits with diverse guests – be it an expert, a married couple or even divorcees in “his living room”. They unpack a range of topics that affect marriages such as infidelity, setting boundaries and intimacy – or the lack thereof. “After The Vows isn’t a conventional talkshow. We have fun, light-hearted yet educational discussions about married life,” explains the show’s host.
