Tebello goes undercover at the Newtonian and things at the hotel get weird.

The Newtonian is no stranger to secrets, scandals and lies, and the month of May is no different. We have seen sly hotel manager Timothy (Charlie Bouguenon, Ryan in The Estate, see p30) housing his ex-girlfriend Efua (Jessey Matlou) at the hotel and, recently, Gloria (Marjorie Langa) kicked off her own little dodgy scam renting out rooms behind management’s back. Unlike Timothy though, Gloria’s secret scheme won’t remain hidden for much longer.

YOUNG THUG

Following reports and strange happenings within the Newtonian corridors (mostly linked to Gloria’s self-hosted Air BnB), Timothy gets someone on the inside to do some clever spying for him. And while there are many shadowy figures eager to do the dirty work, Timothy turns to the sweetest, most loved character to snoop – dearest little Tebello (Litlhonolofatso Litlhakanyane). “He wants Tebello to uncover secrets of what’s really going on when he’s not there,” explains Litlhonolofatso. It’s probably not the greatest idea due to the dangers involved, but Litlhonolofatso explains that his friendship and sense of loyalty blinds his character to the possible consequences.
