Runaway groom?

Judy’s dream wedding turns into a nightmare when her husband-to-be Musa doesn’t pitch up.

Just when Risinga Village’s new mayor Judy (Mamarumo Marokane) thought that her luck was turning around for the better, she faces public humiliation. It all begins when Judy’s childhood friend and widower Musa (Wiseman Zitha) tells her that he has feelings for her, which is music to Judy’s ears. “She’s always had a crush on Musa and Judy’s recent campaign brought the pair closer. She’s glad he reciprocates her feelings,” explains Mamarumo, whose character is caught offguard when Musa makes a suggestion.

He wants to skip the dating stage of their relationship and get married right away. “Without giving the proposal much thought, Judy agrees. They think that they’re soulmates. So what’s the point in waiting when they start their lives together?” adds Mamarumo. Judy shouldn’t get too excited though, as there’s a surprise waiting for her on the day of their ceremony.
