Playing iconic late singer Lebo Mathosa has rallied emotions for KB Motsilanyane on biopic drama Dream: The Lebo Mathosa Story.
With 20 years in the entertainment industry, learning choreography, rehearsing script lines and working the stage is nothing new to musician and actress Keabetswe “KB” Motsilanyane while portraying the How Can I (2000) singer Lebo Mathosa in six-part biographical drama Dream: The Lebo Mathosa Story. “I was excited when I first heard about the series,” says KB. “My silent prayer was that whoever gets this role should do a brilliant job of it! Getting the part has brought a huge sense of responsibility as Lebo was and still is adored by many,” adds the actress who has been portraying Lesedi the lawyer on soapie 7de Laan (2000-now) since 2015.
Before Lebo died in a tragic car crash in 2006, her albums topped music charts and she won style awards too. With actress
