Destructive teen Zinhle scares away her new friend Kea by introducing her to the world of drugs.

Spoilt brat teenager Zinhle (Kealeboga Masango) has been boiling with fury since her brother Theo’s (Ntokozo Mlaba) murder in November last year. “What’s more frustrating is that her parents Nandi and Khulekani (Nompilo Gwala and Mncedisi Shabangu) often shut her out. Zinhle feels alone and hopeless,” explains Kealeboga.

But Nandi misreads Zinhle’s grief as ungrateful self-entitlment and sends Zinhle to the township to befriend Kea (Kamogelo Molatlhoe who joined in February 2019 and plays Cebile in Lithapo, 2020-now), a girl her age who hasn’t had a fair chance at life. “Nandi believes that Zinhle will transform into the cheerful kid she once was if she spends time with Kea in Soweto. But she’s wrong,” explains Kealeboga, because Zinhle introduces Kea to drugs.
