As Lazarus is about to leave House Of Zwide for good, Faith dangles his fashion dream before him.

Considering that Lazarus (Khaya Dladla) has dedicated 25 years slaving away at fashion empire House Of Zwide, the least that his boss Funani (Vusi Kunene) could do is grant him his one wish: To design his own clothing line at the company. “Laz’s Couture. Doesn’t that have a nice ring to it?” says Khaya.

As Funani’s right-hand man, Laz is more than capable of creating fabulous garments and headlining runway shows. In fact, Laz has been behind some of the house’s best shows, only for Funani to take all the credit. “Laz seeks validation for all his blood, sweat and tears. It’s a pity that Funani continues to overlook his efforts,” adds Khaya. But this fortnight, Laz’s fashion line dream is within reach thanks to his friend Nina (Tshiamo Modikoane). “She offers to get Laz’s line up and running. But Laz needs to quit House Of Zwide,” explains Khaya.
