Gordon Ramsay brings his Uncharted cooking series to SA as he searches for more tasty treats in season 2.

He is the meanest of the mean when he judges reality cooking shows like Hell’s Kitchen (2005now), but British chef-turned-reality TV star Gordon Ramsay is actually a really nice guy, says local chef Zola Nene (Celeb Feasts With Zola, 2020). “We had so much fun talking about food. I forgot that he was this world-famous chef. We chatted about family and food and he was just really chilled.” Zola took Gordon down to KwaZulu-Natal late last year before the COVID-19 travel bans as he shot season 2 of his lifestyle cooking series Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted (2019-now). And according to Zola, she and Gordon had pots full of fun doing everything from hiding from hippos, to cooking for royalty. She even helped him mind his manners when meeting the chief. “I told him no butt-bumping the chief,” she says.
