After a seven-year absence, a favourite character is making her appearance in 7de Laan again.
With all the drama and tears filling 7de Laan screens lately, there is something to smile about for viewers. Bubbly, smiling redhead San-Mari van Graan (Amalia Uys) is popping in for a visit. “She is here for a wedding and just decides to make a short holiday of the occasion and catch up with friends she hasn’t seen for such a long time,” says Amalia, who is reprising her role after leaving in 2013.
BROKEN HEARTS
The last time we saw San-Mari, she had fallen in love with the mysterious Pierre (Brian Robson). “She really loved him and thought that he was the right man for her. They planned to travel the world full,” explains Amalia. San-Mari quit her job and started packing her bags, but as fate would have it, true love wasn’t for San-Mari. “She found out that Pierre was already married and had a family. That broke her heart to pieces. San-Mari then decided to say goodbye to Hillside and travel the world on her own, choosing to find her own happiness.”
