Desperate Thandeka has sold her soul to the devil to save her hubby Sbu’s life, but will he accept her decision?
Nothing worthwhile comes easy and Sbu and Thandeka’s (Sdumo Mtshali and Nomzamo Mbatha) marriage faces its biggest hurdle between Wednesday 22 November and Friday 1 December – forgiveness for an immoral sin. Sbu has been lying in a coma since mid October and his doctors prepared Thandeka for the worst at month end when nothing seemed to help with his condition. He was knocked over by taxi driver Skhaleni (Zakhele Mabasa) while walking in the street and talking on the phone. “Of course life won’t be easy for Sbu and Thandeka,” laughs Sdumo. “Sbu had just been told that he’s going to be a father and now he is fighting for his life.” When a prayer meeting didn’t help comatose Sbu, his wife looked for an alternate solution – a supernatural one. “She considered her options and sold her soul to the devil,” warns Sdumo.
