Nombulelo Mhlongo has been to Hollywood and back before scoring her role as pastor’s wife Nomcebo on Uzalo.
Uzalo returns from a five-week lockdown production break with a bang on Monday 15 June: the first lady at Kingdom Church Nomcebo (Nombulelo Mhlongo) has her gloves off and she wants vengeance. While she doesn’t have all the facts, Nomcebo is convinced that her estranged sister-wife Gabisile (Baby Cele) murdered her son Khehla (Thobani Nzuza) following his disappearance earlier this year. “It has been far too long since Nomcebo last saw her son. She’s convinced that he is dead as no one has seen or heard from him – and she’s certain that Gabi is behind his passing,” explains Nombulelo whose character is spot on!
While Gabi indeed killed Khehla and buried his body in January this year, it was an accident. Khehla was obsessed with Gabi after their affair in December 2019. When she refused to leave her husband
