Bulelwa won’t let anyone change her life just because her boyfriend Smanga is blind.

Dinner dates, cuddles and life in general have become strained for ambitious lawyer Bulelwa (Celeste Khumalo) and her boyfriend Smanga (Moopi Mothibeli) since he recently lost his sight. “Their relationship has completely changed,” reveals Celeste. Smanga is no longer the romantic and affectionate man Bulelwa fell for. He is still struggling with losing his eyesight, adds Celeste. “Smanga makes it difficult for Bulelwa to support him. She tries to help where possible, but he is snappy and rude.” Bulelwa is just as frustrated with his irritable attitude but “she doesn’t want to push Smanga away at his lowest. They’re still in the early stages of their relationship where they’re getting to know each other, so this is a real test,” explains Celeste.
