PRINCE WILLIAM and wife Kate Middleton had a lot to pack in during their visit to Belize the first stop on their whirlwind eight-day tour of the Caribbean, which kicked off March 19. But an insider tells Star the couple managed to sneak away for a romantic dinner at a low-key, under-the-radar restaurant, where they enjoyed each other's company and some local fare far from the crowds and cameras. “It's a small, understated spot- -not the kind of place you'd expect to see a royal,” says an onlooker. “Barely anyone noticed them because it was so dimly lit. They were holding hands and Will was affectionately stroking Kate's hair.” After the intimate dinner, adds the onlooker, “They danced to the music until 2 a.m."

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were officially on work duty in Belize and later Jamaica and the Bahamas, but royal watchers couldn't help but notice that the parents to Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and three-year-old Prince Louis (who stayed home in the U.K.) were flirty and loose in public as well. “William and Kate had the time of their lives," the insider says. “They were saying, 'It's like our second honeymoon.' The tour brought them closer together than they've been in a long time."
