When Brittany shares that the Chancellors will pay for all costs associated with the pregnancy, including maternity clothes, Mariah asks why the language is so specific. “Brittany makes it very clear that despite Mariah’s friendship with Abby, there are details that need to be decided in advance,” Griffith points out. “That way, Mariah is truly comfortable in her role as a surrogate during the entire pregnancy.”
