Just as the butterfly motif all over Taylor Swift’s videos and promotion for her new album, Lover, suggests, the 29-year-old pop star has finally broken out of her cocoon — and is flying higher than ever. After going through a dark period that left the Grammy winner feeling dejected and isolated — including yet another public humiliation at the hands of Kanye West; and public tussles with both a radio DJ over sexual assault and music manager Scooter Braun over nabbing the master rights to her songs — Taylor has officially come out on the other side. “She’s got a whole new appetite for life and love,” says an insider of the songstress, “and she’s not letting petty people push her down anymore.”
