They finally set the record straight. On Oct. 1 — almost three weeks after rumors began to swirl that Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin secretly tied the knot at a NYC courthouse — the couple paid a visit to a museum in Ontario, Canada, where the singer proudly introduced the model as his wife. “It’s true, they quietly wed on Sept. 13,” a source tells OK! of the pair, who asked Justin’s pal Josh Mehl to be their witness and Jeffrey Quinn, a faculty member at nearby Nyack College, to be their preacher. But the low-key affair “was more of a legal ceremony,” adds the source. “They didn’t exchange rings or anything.”

But they soon will! According to the insider, Justin, 24, and Hailey, 21, are gearing up to throw a lavish ceremony in front of their family and friends. “They’re calling this their actual wedding and no expense will be spared,” says the source, adding that the Grammy winner — who married the model without a prenup — has already spent nearly $5 million. “Hailey’s always dreamed of having a big white wedding, and Justin is happy to give it to her, no matter what anyone else thinks.”
