Jen Garner Finally Boots Ben

The actress makes the difficult decision to shut the door on her ex-husband

Her home was the one place Ben Affleck thought he could always go. Just last month – hours after he was photographed stumbling, seemingly intoxicated, outside a party in West Hollywood – the recovering alcoholic headed to the home of his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. But when Ben, 47, got there, the actress didn’t give him her usual pep talk.

‘In the past, she’s always told Ben he’s strong, that he can beat this. But this time she was much more subdued, like she was sick of the drama,’ says a friend of the actor. ‘It was as if Ben really let her down this time.’
