If there’s ever a time a girl really needs her mum, it’s when she’s planning her wedding. But sadly, there’s no excited dress shopping for bride-to-be Miley Cyrus and her mother Tish, whose relationship has become seriously frayed over one very important wedding detail.

But it’s not the cake, guest list or venue that the pair aren’t seeing eye-to-eye on – it’s the groom Liam Hemsworth!

Uh-huh, according to In Touch magazine, Tish is doing everything she can to keep her finger on the pause button until she can convince Miley to make Liam sign a prenup.

And it’s not the first time she’s put the pressure on to protect her daughter’s $200 million-plus fortune.

Apparently, she also asked Liam, 27, to sign on the dotted line when the couple first got engaged in 2012, three years after they fell in love on the set of The Last Song.

“It didn’t go over well,” a source tells the publication. “Liam was deeply offended… He loves Miley but feels the paperwork is extreme.”

But given the Aussie actor is only worth an estimated $21 million – not to mention that he and Miley have a history of splitting – Tish is adamant a prenup is essential.
