Katy's Midlife Thrisis She's At Breaking Point!

She recently chopped her locks into a Miley Cyrus-style pixie crop, but loved ones are worried Katy Perry’s having more of a Britney Spears moment, amid growing whispers that she’s on the verge of a major meltdown.

Uh-oh… 

Indeed, with Katy’s look changing by the day, an insider tells NW the Swish Swish singer, 32, has been “acting really bizarre” and appears to be in the grips of a “thrisis” – aka a thirty-something crisis, duh!

“Her family and friends are concerned she’s going through some sort of early midlife crisis,” says our insider. “They’re pushing for her to seek help for whatever demons she clearly seems to be struggling with.”

It wouldn’t be the first time that Katy has sought treatment though. 

Back in 2013, she voluntarily checked herself into rehab for three months after spiralling into a deep depression in the wake of her bitter split from Russell Brand.

“[The divorce was] devastating,” she admits. “I went through a period where a lot of negative thoughts crossed my mind.”
