Katie’s left reeling as Tom decides he wants to play daddy again

In the six years since she did the (mission) impossible and blindsided Tom Cruise with divorce, Katie Holmes has done her best to ensure her daughter Suri has had the best life possible.

“The number one thing is making sure my child feels loved,” the devoted single mum has said.

But now, Tom’s decided to burst their cosy mother daughter bubble – as NW’s hears the actor is wanting to be granted joint custody of Suri, 12.

Sources believe Tom has always been allowed to see Suri for 10 days a month since he and Katie divorced in 2012.

However, whispers are swirling that he wants to up his access to Suri, and has possibly instructed his lawyers to draw up the paperwork to make it happen.

“He wants to have a real father-daughter relationship with Suri,” explains NW’s insider.

According to the Cruise confidante, Tom, 56, has worked hard to makeover his image.

And now that public affection is back on his side following the release of Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Tom’s lawyers are confident he has a real shot of getting what he wants.
