The scruffy singer had family and friends worried after a video went viral showing him shaking uncontrollably as he hugged a fan in New York last month.

In the clip, which fans described as “disturbing”, the 24-year-old star was twitching, closing his eyes and acting erratically. Even worse, many viewers on social media believed Justin showed symptoms of meth use as he grimaced involuntarily and rubbed the girl’s back in a strange, frantic motion that he didn’t seem able to control.
