Uh-huh, we hear the model – who had a huge smile on her dial and a serious spring in her step while out in New York on June 27 – is making a major effort to get out of her personal and professional slump. And it’s all thanks to the advice of her mamma Yolanda Hadid.

“She told Gi she needs to get back out on the social scene, and fast, before she’s replaced with the next hot young thing,” an insider tells NW. “Gigi has and always will be a star in Yo’s eyes and she wants everyone to be reminded of that.”
