In the world of surprise celebrity romances, we deffo didn’t see this one coming! Yep, Zac Efron has sparked speculation that he may be half of a hot new A-list couple after he started following Selena Gomez on Instagram.

Yaaass! The pair first worked together on the 2016 movie Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising and fans are now wondering if things have turned more than profesh!

“Clearly they make a hot couple and they have a lot in common,” an insider tells NW. “They’ve moved in the same circles since they were kids and they’ve always got along well. It was nice for them to hang out on Neighbors 2 and they got to know each other better, but it never turned into anything more than a friendship.”

Much to Sel’s dismay! “Are you kidding me? I’m still thinking Zac Efron’s my husband,” she joked in 2011 of her celebrity crush. However, it seems a childhood fantasy has now turned into a reality!
