Sam Bailey:'Cheryl And Liam Are The Perfect Couple'

X Factor winner Sam Bailey opens up about being dropped by Simon Cowell and takes a swipe at Liam Payne for ‘biting the hand that feeds him'.

She’s had a whirlwind three years since winning The X Factor. After splitting with Simon Cowell’s record label Syco last year, just four months on from having a baby, Sam Bailey is back with a new single Sing My Heart Out and an upcoming album.

Despite admitting she’s not ‘best buddies’ with Simon, although they parted on good terms, Sam’s bond with her former X Factor mentor – and godmother to her youngest child Miley – Sharon Osbourne remains strong. Sam reveals she’s been a rock for the returning judge amid the heartbreaking news that her hubby Ozzy cheated on her. ‘When I hear stuff about this, I just send Sharon a text message saying, “I’ve just heard this. I hope you’re all right,”’ she tells Now.

The 39-year-old also reveals all about the trials of juggling her jam-packed work schedule and looking after her children Brooke, 11, Tommy, seven and little Miley, who turns two next month. Life on the road has meant she’s gone from a size 12 to 14, but Sam says she’s more body confident than ever. ‘I have a belly on me. But I wear my stretch marks with pride as a reminder of what I went through to get my beautiful children,’ she tells us. Sam talks to Now about cellulite, what’s on her new record and ‘very powerful man’ Simon.

What’s it like to be releasing music after leaving Syco? 

It’s really exciting. It’s going to be a crazy time.
