Danniella: ‘I've Got Cancer'

Former addict Danniella opens up about her heartbreaking diagnosis.

Just when Danniella Westbrook thought her life couldn't get much worse, last week she revealed she’d been dealt the ultimate health blow, confirming she’d been diagnosed with cancer.

The 44-year-old, who is mum to son Kai, 21, and daughter Jody, 17, opened up in a chat with Now just days after she posted a series of cryptic tweets. ‘I’ve had some bad news about my health,’ explains Danniella. ‘It hit me quite hard when I found out. I feel like crap. I’m tired. I’m just trying to get this treatment out the way for the cancer.'

It's the first time the former EastEnders star has broken her silence to confirm the suspected diagnosis and she confessed to spending the past few weeks in Spain as she got her head around the shocking news.
