The travel director with travel agency Trafalgar has 12 years of experience under his belt, leading guests on some 17 itineraries in Italy, and takes on occasional tours in Greece and Switzerland. But the Italian native, who calls the countryside of Umbria home these days, is all about sharing local secrets with guests, despite the fixed tour itineraries. “My top travel tip would be to try to live like a local as quickly as possible — understand what they do, where they go and what they eat.
