Ant The Story Goes...

In this week’s Ant-Man and The Wasp, we find out why the miniature hero, played by Paul Rudd, isn’t in Avengers: Infinity War: He’s too busy exploring the Quantum Realm and fighting bad people with a new badass partner.
-
One of the many burning questions about Avengers: Infinity War concerns the whereabouts of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), aka Ant-Man, and Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), aka Hawkeye. What exactly were Lang and Barton doing while Iron Man and the rest of Earth’s mightiest heroes were knee-deep in the trenches fighting intergalactic despot Thanos? Yes, yes, we know they were under house arrest thanks to the fallout from the events in Captain America: Civil War. But seriously, what exactly were the two doing during the period in question? The answers, at least Lang’s side of the story, will be revealed in this week’s Ant-Man and The Wasp, said to take place before and during the events of Infinity War.
The 19th instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe involves Lang, Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) and scientist Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) searching for Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) — Hope’s mother and Hanks’s missus — who vanished in the Quantum Realm, a sub-atomic dimension that Scott survived during 2015’s Ant-Man. Back too are Michael Pena, David Dastmalchian and Tip ‘TI’ Harris as Lang’s ex-con pals, the X-Con Security crew.

But rescuing Janet isn’t going to be easy as the heroes will face a few villainous bumps along the way in the form of Walton Goggins’ shady arms dealer Sonny Burch, and Hannah John-Kamen’s Ghost whose main power is the ability to phase (or move through solid matter). Burch wants to get his hands on Pym’s shrinking technology and Ghost wants to track down Janet for reasons we can’t disclose.
As we all know from the first movie, Hank was the original
