A spatial dance of the feathers

With ‘experiential’ being the operative word today, it’s not just retail brands who are seeking to convert their customer touch points into spaces for aesthetic engagement. Pune-based real estate brand Kekarav, for example, has tied up with Ratnsorb Architecture and Design to craft its sales office cum experience centre into a space that reflects the beauty of its muse - Kekarav or peacock.

A spatial dance of the feathers

Real estate brand Kekarav’s sales office in Pune is an experience centre that aims at offering a green and wholesome sensory experience to customers. Designed by Ratnsorb Architecture and Design, the design philosophy of the space reflects the feather of the peacock, which is internalised into the whole design story. The colours, furniture and other elements adhere to the thematic premise of the peacock in all its glory.

“KEKARAV means ‘the sound of a Peacock’. Hence the entire design philosophy is taken from the bird and its habitat. The design brief for the Kekarav sales office was to have different sections in the given space: Design corner, Casfé corner, Sustainability corner, Tru corner, Finance corner and a 3D interactive model on a large media wall along with other ancillary support activities,” says Bergees Rusi Italia, Principal Architect, Ratnsorb Architecture and Design.
